I created this blog on a friend’s suggestion, to record comments about gigs I attend. I extended that to dance and other art shows. I didn’t intend it to be public at first, but keep it so in the probably deluded hope it can get other people to check out the people I write about and try to link to.

About that name: fnord comes from the Principia Discordia, and counter from the counterforce of Gravity’s Rainbow.

Anything I write is my opinion. Or rather was when I wrote it.

I can be reached through my gmail account; the name’s counterfnord.

There are no pictures, videos or any kind of recording whatsoever on this blog, and I don’t foresee that changing. My only records are my memories, and this thing is supposed to help me with that. I try to link to the sites of the people I write about, so something might be available there.

The On Deck button is an experiment, I will try to post forthcoming events on that page. I might forget or get annoyed by this thing, so it might be gone anytime. Wishful Thinking should be up longer: my wish list of gigs.
